The Yushania anceps plant species is found in E. Asia - N.W. Himalayas It is a member of the Gramineae family. Common gardeners may know the plant as Ringal. Some home gardeners know the variety as Arundinaria anceps. A. jaunsarensis. Gamble.

General Uses:  Canes are used as plant supports and in basketry, they must be properly ripened[25, 158, 195]. The plant makes an attractive hedge or screen, eventually becoming very dense[195].
