The Argemone albiflora plant species is found in Southern N. America - Connecticut to Florida and west to Texas and Illinois. It is a member of the Papaveraceae family. Some home gardeners know the variety as A. alba.

Propagation Notes:  Seed - sow April in situ[200]. The seed usually germinates in 3 - 4 weeks at 15°c[134].
