Known Hazards:  Although no specific mention of toxicity has been found for this species, there is the suggestion that some members of this genus could be mildly poisonous[65].

Cultivation Notes:  We have very little information on this species and do not know if it will be hardy in Britain, though judging by its native range it should succeed outdoors in many parts of the country. It is closely related to, and possibly no more than part of, R. dahuricus. The following notes are based on the general needs of the genus. Succeeds in any reasonably good soil[11]. The species in this genus are notably resistant to honey fungus[200].
