The Linaria canadensis plant species is found in N. America - Nova Scotia to Florida, west to Minnesota, Oregon, Texas and California It is a member of the Scrophulariaceae family. Common gardeners may know the plant as Blue toadflax.

Propagation Notes:  Seed - sow spring in situ[200]. An autumn sowing can also be made in areas with mild winters[200]. This sowing will produce larger plants.
