Cultivation Notes:  We have very little information on this species and ar not sure that it will be hardy in Britain, though judging by its native range it is likely to succeed outdoors only in the mildest areas of the country. The following notes are based on the general needs of the genus. Prefers a light well-drained sandy soil in full sun[200]. Seed is rarely ripened on plants growing in Britain[1].
