Medicinal Information: The entire plant is used in Tibetan medicine, it is said to have a bitter taste and a cooling potency[241]. Antidote, antiinflammatory and febrifuge, it is used in the treatment of headaches and redness of the eyes, inflammation of the throat and inflammation of the gall bladder giving rise to yellowish skin[241].
