Habitat:  Hedges and woods in mountains, 1500 - 2300 metres in Yunnan[126, 198].

Edible Uses: Fruit - raw or cooked[61, 105]. Small and sweet[177]. The fruit is 1.6cm long, 1.3cm wide[198]. It contains a number of small seeds, but these are easily eaten with the fruit[K].
